Exploring Mathematical Concepts and Philosophical Values in Jember Batik

Ethnomathematics are different ways of doing mathematics taking into account the academic mathematical knowledge developed by sectors society as well modes in which cultures negotiate their practices (ways grouping, counting, measuring, designing tools, or playing). Based on this research, study aims to describe results ethnomathematics exploration Jember batik motifs. The method analysis used research was a qualitative approac with an ethnographic design. Data collection techniques were observation, documentation, and interviews. This conducted at Rumah Batik Rolla Rezti'z Tegalsari Ambulu Jember. for one week. indicate that motif has philosophical value describes natural wealth Regency each its motifs, there concepts form geometric transformation (reflection, translation, rotation, dilation) along concept number patterns.
